Below, find stories of activities carried out in 2021 to develop our work for our employees' well-being, diversity and gender equality.

Protecting colleagues from the mental consequences of racism

No one should have to face racist slurs by someone within or outside the company. However, we want to provide support to employees who have experienced racial slurs from customers or other stakeholders, and to employees on how to support their colleagues who have received racial slurs. Therefore, we offered a conference in our Romanian office in Bucharest, explaining how employees can legally react and what tools the company can provide to protect them.

Throughout the conference, we explained what is considered a racist comment or slur according to the law, and who to alert when this happens. We emphasised our whistleblowing process and when to use it. We also took this time as an opportunity to remind colleagues of their rights outside of the company. We furthermore reminded our coworkers that the information given throughout the conference also applies to any other form of discrimination, would it be sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.
